Honorees
Except for college in Binghamton, N.Y. and law school in Washington, D.C., Rob has resided in Oyster Bay-East Norwich his entire life, where he attended Roosevelt School, Vernon School, and graduated from Oyster Bay High School. Rob currently resides in East Norwich, is an attorney in Oyster Bay, and has long served a variety of local organizations, presently serving on the Board of Directors of the East Norwich Civic Association, Friends of the Bay, Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce, and the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum, on the Advisory Board of the Oyster Bay Main Street Association, and as counsel to and active member of the Italian-American Club of Oyster Bay and the Oyster Bay Civic Association.
Dottie grew up in Oyster Bay and currently resides with her family in Glen Head, N.Y. She has been employed in the Oyster Bay area her entire professional career and is the co-owner of Sanctuary Home and Patio (formerly known as Dodds and Eder Home) in Oyster Bay, where she has worked for over 20 years. Dottie is also the former president of and an active member of the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce.

Event Highlights
The Gala features dinner & dancing, open bar, silent auction and spending the evening with great friends and colleagues. The Gala is being held on November 2, 2023 at 7 pm at the Brookville Country Club. This year’s theme Fly Me To The Moon is a nod to the casual & classy supper club atmosphere.
This year we are proud to honor a TRIO of community minded individuals who have given of their time, talent and finances to support so many organizations in Oyster Bay and the surrounding communities. John Specce, Dottie Simons and Rob Brusca, all familiar faces, local business owners, board members, as well as long time and esteemed residents of the community, will be honored that evening. There will also be a special tribute to the Center’s beloved Program Manager, Mary Frignani, who has devoted 30 years of her life to The Life Enrichment Center and is retiring this year.
Music is being provided by Jerry Costanzo & his Gotham City Swingers
The event will raise funds to support the Center’s programs and services that have a vital impact for seniors in our community.
