Taking care of an elderly family member or friend is never easy. The Center offers an opportunity for caregivers to share their experiences and concerns. Our Caregiver Support Group meets twice a month in our Main Hall from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. throughout the year. Practical suggestions and advice on handling stressful situations will be provided by our adult daycare coordinator, Ruth Humphreys, who is also a gerontologist. In addition to the group discussions, guest speakers are scheduled. Assistance with Medicare, Medicaid, Home Care, Long Term Care and Care Coordination will also be offered.
